Our Story
Welcome to bolderpropertyinvestments.com. Joey and I run a few businesses both online and offline, but Bolder Property Investments holds a special place in our heart. Real estate runs in our blood, with a legacy spanning over 40 years, it was no surprise that this entire business idea was born completely out of a passion that’s infused into our DNA.
In 2001, fresh off of a prolific track and field career, I bought my first property and was hit with the real estate bug. Throughout the years, I developed and sharpened my entrepreneurial skills, grew as a business owner, and gained the much-needed confidence to pursue more investments.
After Joey and I had our first little one, we stepped out on faith and invested in our first rental property together. During this time, we dreamed of Bolder Property Investments, our real estate investment company, for many years but it wasn’t until we had the opportunity to connect with other flippers that we thought our dream was possible. We were able to find the mentorship and confidence we needed to learn the investment side of things, and we loved the idea that we were “turning dumps into dreams one house at a time.” So in September of 2017, we pulled the trigger, and the BPI opened for business.
Real estate is not just about wealth building, it is meaningful to us, as we get the opportunity to get the entire family involved. Our parents and little ones are all involved in the #familybusiness and as we have learned to work as a team, we’ve grown richer in income, but in eer-lasting experience and magical memories.
So here we are! To think that our dreams of building a real estate empire have turned from idea to inception in such a short time is unbelievable to say the least. Not to mention the fact that we get to work with some amazing people along the way. What an amazing season this has been!

Entrepreneur, investor, football coach, community leader, dedicated husband and proud dad, he does it all. When he's not picking out designer tile with his wife, Andrea, and co-founder of Bolder Property Investments, LLC, this father of 2 is coaching youth football and making a difference in his community. While actively acquiring, renovating, and managing rental properties for more than a decade, he and Andrea decided to dive headfirst into finding and fixing neglected properties that just needed a little TLC so they could go from dumps to a family's dream home. Joey holds a BS and degree from Columbia University.
A world-class track and field athlete and Olympic Gold Medalist turned multi-passionate entrepreneur, Andrea has turned her knack for winning into a successful enterprise. Having mentored thousands through her internet-based marketing courses, she has leveraged her skills and talent to build a successful real estate business. Creative, committed to quality and highly competitive, she loves taking on the challenges that come with creating stunning, highly functional living spaces that wow. When she's not overseeing a project, Andrea enjoys yoga, watching Warrior basketball and spending time with her and Joey's two young kids. Andrea holds a BS in Biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles.
